Paisley Van Patten
"I want to be the voice on the radio singing positive, uplifting songs that can change someone's day - their outlook on life ... that is my dream"

-Paisley

Paisley Van Patten's songs shoot straight from her soul. The beautiful, edgy singer, songwriter and actress uses the reality of her young life to create music that makes people of all ages laugh, cry, and relate to.

"I like getting into the car and turning the radio onto a song that makes you realize you'll be okay," Paisley says, "You'll get through it. You're not alone."

Paisley's childhood was rocky. She never knew her real father. Her mother's first husband adopted her. Then there was a divorce, a remarriage and another divorce that thrust her into an emotional whirlwind. She emerged from that chaos wiser than her 21 years to write an autobiographical song, "My Sanity," which offers hope, solace and humor to all those who have heard it.

Paisley has been wowing crowds since she was ten and began performing at state fairs and malls around her home state of Utah. At twelve she was singing in movie theater parking lots. Soon came an offer to fly to Nashville and open for the group, SheDaisy.

Back to Utah, she sang at the 2002 Utah Olympics Governor's Ceremony for an audience that included the President of the United States.

At 16, Warner Brothers whisked her off to Montreal where Paisley sang with pop star Corey Hart. After a late night recording session with HArt she recieved a stunning telephone call from The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, "I really enjoy your voice," Springsteen told the startled teenager.

Soon Paisley's career took another turn. The little girl, who used to sing outside movie theatres was now featured in the Disney Channel movie "Read it and Weep."

Today Paisley is in Nashville writing, singing and recording with Grammy and two-time Emmy Award nominated songwriter and producer Greg Barnhill, who has made her his protege'.

After recently performing together in January '09 at Cannes Music Festival in Cannes, France, Barnhill said:

"Paisley is on the cusp of realizing her crossover potential. It's wonderful to see her blossoming into the star we all knew she would be."
